Completely unrelated, but I’ve been listening to City & Colour’s new album, Bring Me Your Love, a lot recently. I try not, because I’m sure I’ll end up going off it, but I cannot help myself. It is amazing.

Some moments happen, and you just wonder whether they really can be so. They are the kind of things that your friends wouldn’t believe happen. The kind of things that only happen in films.
Like when I was standing under a tree with my girlfriend, lit by the lecherous orange glow of a streetlight. As we broke up, and she started to cry, the heavens opened and the rain would not stop. The road was like a river, and I thought, this is a photograph that I cannot take.

Instead I took this.

This is why I bought my J3. I have finally got back the first test roll from the J3, and the results are superb.
